We can get her laughing so hard by making coughing sounds, picking her up over our heads while kissing her tummy, tickling under her neck, arms and thighs. She just started this unpleasant squeal like noise that sounds like she's being tortured but if you look at her she gives you the biggest grin.
She LOVES laying on her tummy now that she can push up with her arms. She has yet to roll over but she's sooooo close. She will lift up her head on the changing table to see what you're doing "down there" while changing her diaper. Didn't I say she was nosey? She's such a little woman already.
Ava is still sleeping through the night like a perfect angel...by far the biggest gift a baby can give a mama. When she wakes up, she instantly begins to "chat" and look at the light on her baby monitor. Jacob loves to go talk to her when she wakes up. I just love listening through monitor to hear the two chatting away. It makes me smile so big. Today he even unzipped her woombie and turned off her baby monitor...such a little helper. Speaking of Woombie...this is why she's sleeping through the night. Every new mom needs some of these.

She might be a good sleeper at night but she's not into naps during the day that last more than 45 minutes. She's just too light of a sleeper, any little noise will wake her up and tell me how to get a 5 year old to no make any noise. I'm not complaining too much since she does sleep at night but it has been hard to get anything done around the house during the weekends.
So that's what our girl is doing at 5 months! I can't wait to see what's in store for us!
