3 Months of Ava

My how time flies. My baby girl turned 3 months on this past Tuesday, the 16th! We couldn't be more smitten with her. She has settled real nicely into our family and routine of life. Now that I'm back to work, we have a true sense of how life will be. Granted I'm so tired and I do have fewer moments to relax, it's not too much to handle. The smiles make it all worth it. Here are her milestones thus far.

She's genuinely a very happy baby, smiling all the time! As soon as we greet her in the morning, she's all smiles. She doesn't need a lot of coaxing just a smile on your face and she returns the favor.

She has started reaching for things. Not grabbing them yet, but she's reaching to bat at them. She'll also knock the paci out of your hand if you're offering it and she's not interested.

She loves her tub baths. She sits and kicks her legs everywhere splashing water. So cute!

She still needs to be swaddled to sleep well.

She is still sleeping through the night. Goes down around 9pm and sleeps through until 6ish.

She still has her hair, although she clearly has her mom's crazy high forehead so most of her hair is on top, sides and back.

Wears size 2 diapers.

She drinks all breast milk and about 4.5oz. when it's in a bottle. I nurse her in the morning and 2 times in the evening before bed time.

She is cooing up a storm. She especially loves to "chat" while she gets a diaper change.

When you hold her up in your lap she'll put weight on her feet for brief moments like she's standing.
